Unforgettable stay in the wild with no electricity or hot water, just how I like it! The hosts treated me to traditional meals and even played music for me. The safari was great, and they were good with my daughter. Didn't like the lack of electricity and hot water.

The quadruple room at Yala Wild House was simply fantastic! It had its own private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The seating area was cozy and perfect for lounging after a long day of exploring. The bathroom had a refreshing shower and they even provided complimentary toiletries. It was everything I needed and more!
The only thing I liked less about the room was the shower. It's just my personal preference, but I prefer a bathtub.

We had such a wild adventure staying at this guesthouse in Tissamaharama! The highlight was definitely the delicious barbecue facilities they provided. Picture this: sizzling meats, mouthwatering aromas, and a cozy patio where we enjoyed our meal under the stars. It felt like having a personal chef in the wild!
Road access is bumpy.

Stayed at a wild house, amazing experience! Free WiFi, garden, and a generous daily breakfast. Really enjoyed the BBQ facilities and the helpful staff.
Such a shame that there weren't more dry cleaning options. I mean, who doesn't love doing laundry on vacation?

As we searched for Yala tours, we opted for a more basic option and it turned out to be the best decision ever. The Wild House had a wild and authentic feel, with comfortable rooms and delicious, affordable meals. The hosts even treated us to a fabulous dinner with traditional music. We organized a full day safari and the driver was great, taking us to an amazing beach afterwards. Truly an amazing experience for wildlife and nature lovers.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The owner and his nephew are amazing hosts. the owner's cooking is top-notch, thanks to his experience as an ex-army cook. the meals are delicious and reasonably priced. the nephew acts as both an English translator and a safari guide. They can help organize affordable safaris. the rooms are traditional and romantic, with a spacious layout and outdoor seating area. the location is peaceful, with the sounds of local wildlife adding to the ambiance. the accommodation has a little farm on-site, providing fresh ingredients for meals.
Felt so comfortable, no complaints.

We had an amazing experience at Wild House during our recent stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location in the middle of the jungle gave our stay a mystical and adventurous atmosphere. The highlight of our trip was the morning safari that the hotel organized for us, where we saw a variety of wildlife including elephants and peacocks. The homemade food served at dinner was delicious, and the staff even serenaded us with traditional music, creating a unique and memorable dining experience. Despite the basic amenities, the huts were clean and spacious. The only minor drawbacks were the lack of a menu for food options and the absence of hot water. we had a fantastic time at Wild House and would highly recommend it to others seeking a jungle retreat with a touch of local charm.

What a disappointment! The New Year experience at this hotel was a huge letdown. First off, the location was a total bummer. It was far from any major attractions or activities, making it quite inconvenient. And let's not get started on the amenities. The room was cramped and uncomfortable, definitely not what I expected for the price. The staff seemed uninterested in providing good service and the food was average at best. I would not recommend staying here for your New Year celebrations. Save your money and find another place to ring in the new year.

We got great value for our money at Wild House - it was worth every penny! The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a jungle retreat. The location was truly enchanting, surrounded by nature and a touch of mystery. The staff treated us like family, they were incredibly helpful and organized everything from taxis to the morning safari. Plus, they had the cutest, most playful puppy!
A menu for breakfast would have been helpful.

The location of this hotel is truly unique, situated right on the edge of the national park. You'll have the chance to see a variety of wildlife right from your doorstep, such as deers, peacocks, and even leopards. The rooms may be basic, but they are clean and tidy, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The friendly staff will also help organize your safari trip and provide delicious meals during your stay.
One downside is that there is no hot water available in the hotel.
